KUALA LUMPUR: The 2026 budget to be tabled on Friday will focus on critical projects to address issues related to floods, water supply and energy, says deputy prime minister Fadillah Yusof.
Fadillah, who is also the energy transition and water transformation minister, said issues related to the cost of living would also be given special attention in the budget.
“The focus this time is more towards helping our people. Critical projects, flood issues, water supply and energy issues affecting everyone, as well as support for them,” he said after the launch of the National Innovation and Commercialisation Expo 2025 at the World Trade Centre here today.
