Yusri Bakir will defend the seat for BN against PN’s Abd Muhaimin Malek and PSM’s KS Bawani.

PETALING JAYA: The by-election for the Ayer Kuning state seat on April 26 will see a three-cornered fight involving Barisan Nasional, Perikatan Nasional and Parti Sosialis Malaysia.

BN is represented by Umno’s Yusri Bakir, while PN has named its Tapah chairman Abd Muhaimin Malek, from PAS, as its candidate for the polls.

Yusri and Muhaimin will face PSM’s KS Bawani, who was also the party’s candidate in the 15th general election in November 2022.
