PETALING JAYA: The Penang road transport department (JPJ) has seized 38 luxury vehicles of various brands, mostly belonging to prominent individuals, since June.
The vehicles, worth more than RM10 million, were seized during Ops Luxury after they were found not to have valid road tax and insurance, reported Berita Harian.
State JPJ director Zulkifli Ismail said the luxury vehicles seized in the operation included a Rolls Royce, two Mercedes-Benzes, two Porsches, three Audis, three Mini Coopers, two Volkswagens, 11 BMWs, 13 Toyotas (including the Alphard and Vellfire models), and a Great Wall Motor vehicle.
