PETALING JAYA: Four men were injured after a fire broke out shortly past midnight at a stall selling firecrackers in Kampung Batu, Sabak Bernam.
Selangor fire and rescue department assistant director (operations) Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar said a distress call was received at 1.08am.
A team of firefighters was dispatched to the scene, but by the time they arrived, the fire had already been extinguished.
&#8220;One victim suffered severe injuries to his legs and right hand, while the other three sustained minor injuries,&#8221; he said in a statement.
&#8220;The victims were handed over to medical personnel from the health ministry for further treatment.&#8221;
