Brickfields police chief says a group of university students spotted the dogs biting the cat at a car park in the early hours of Saturday morning.

PETALING JAYA: A cat was killed by a pack of stray dogs at a Universiti Malaya car park last night in the latest in the series of cat-related deaths on campus.

Brickfields police chief Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said a group of university students spotted the dogs biting the cat at around 1.30am.

After chasing the dogs away, they found that the cat had been killed. “They then buried the carcass and lodged a police report,” he said, adding that police would not be investigating the matter.
