PETALING JAYA: An anti-corruption rally will be held on June 28 in Kuala Lumpur, with the event’s organisers looking to press the government to deliver on long-promised institutional reforms.
The protest, led by Sekretariat Rakyat Benci Rasuah under the banner “Himpunan Rakyat Benci Rasuah 2.0”, will begin at 2.30pm in front of the Sogo shopping complex, on Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, and head toward Dataran Merdeka.
“This peaceful, non-partisan rally demands stronger action to clean up the political system,” said Abishek Prasad, strategic director of HARAM, a coalition member.
