PETALING JAYA: A political aide to Anwar Ibrahim has criticised Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) enforcement officers after a scuffle with a balloon vendor along Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman in Kuala Lumpur last night
Kamil Munim, who is the political secretary to Anwar in his capacity as finance minister, said he condemned the incident, and called for an investigation to be carried out.
“Roughing up vendors is a despicable act that cannot be accepted. No matter the justification from DBKL, such cruel and rude actions can never be justified,” said Kamil in a post on X.
