Police say that the baby, who is believed to have died before being found, was discovered wrapped in cloth and placed inside a box.

PETALING JAYA: The body of a baby boy, wrapped in cloth and placed inside a box, was discovered at a roadside stall in Batu 13, Jalan Jeroco, Lahad Datu, yesterday.

Lahad Datu police chief Dzulbaharin Ismail said the baby was discovered by a passerby at around 2pm.

He said the baby was believed to have died before being found, Harian Metro reported.
