PETALING JAYA: Bank Rakyat has offered to defer monthly instalment payments to people and customers affected by the gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights.

It said customers under its home financing-i, vehicle financing-i, hire purchase vehicle leasing-i, personal financing-i, credit card-i, pawn financing-i, micro financing-i and education financing-i plans can apply for payment deferment assistance for up to six months.

In a Bernama report, the bank said it is also offering debit and credit card replacements at no charge to affected customers.
