The company’s profit growth was significantly hit by the US dollar’s depreciation, says City Developments Ltd.

SINGAPORE: The Singapore developer controlled by the city-state’s richest clan reported a small increase in profit in the first half of the year (H1 2025), a period overshadowed by a damaging family feud.

City Developments Ltd’s (CDL) net income rose 3.9% to S$91.2 million (US$71.1 million) in H1 2025 compared with a year ago.

Revenue meanwhile increased to S$1.69 billion, an 8% jump.
