PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is set to embark on a pilot project delivering medicine using drones to communities in remote areas.
MCMC said this initiative will be carried out in partnership with the health ministry, the Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology and Innovation as well as local drone technology providers, Bernama reported.
“This initiative is a pilot project to demonstrate the effectiveness of delivering medicines to rural and remote areas from health clinics to selected national information dissemination centres (Nadi).”
