Selangor police chief Shazeli Kahar says mobile patrol vehicles will be deployed in school compounds.

PETALING JAYA: Police will deploy mobile patrol vehicles in school compounds in Selangor regularly to enhance their presence during school hours, the state’s police chief, Shazeli Kahar, said.

He said this was part of efforts to ensure a safe school environment, which will include a review of the school liaison officer programme.

“We will allow patrol vehicles to enter school grounds periodically to improve police visibility and ensure faster responses if needed.
