DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook says the final seat may be contested by a female candidate.

PETALING JAYA: DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook said the party intends to contest one more seat in the coming Sabah state election, but has yet to announce it as talks with its allies are still going on.

He said the final seat is intended to be contested by a female candidate from the party.

“We were supposed to announce a seat in the interior, but we are still in negotiations with another coalition within the government,” Malay Mail quoted him as saying.
