Police say the 39-year-old suspect is believed to have been involved in 11 cases in Penang and three in Kulim, Kedah.

PETALING JAYA: A snatch thief, who left a trail of injured victims in a spree of robberies around the Timur Laut district in Penang, was finally arrested in Sitiawan, Perak, on Oct 12.

Penang police chief Azizee Ismail said the 39-year-old man was arrested by a team from the Timur Laut police headquarters’ special crimes division in a raid on a house at 2am.

“The suspect cruised around on his motorcycle and targeted male bikers wearing gold chains.
