Leman Raja Lawak says he is still fighting for Pakatan Harapan, just under a different banner.

GEORGE TOWN: Comedian-turned-politician Sulaiman Ibrahim, better known as Leman Raja Lawak, has quit Amanah to join PKR.

Sulaiman, formerly the Sik Amanah chief, sought to play down his change in party, saying this was simply to help strengthen Pakatan Harapan in Penang, where he has moved to.

He said he had no issues with the Amanah leadership, either at the state or national level, and that his move to PKR was purely strategic since he has relocated from Kedah to Penang for a while now.
