PETALING JAYA: DAP has urged the government to form a royal commission of inquiry (RCI) to investigate allegations that certain Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officials were involved in manoeuvres to force company takeovers.
DAP secretary-general Loke Siew Fook said this was one of three key decisions made by the party’s central executive committee (CEC) at its monthly meeting last night.
According to Loke, the DAP top leadership held that the government must handle these allegations effectively to defend MACC’s credibility.
