The party’s information chief says the community continues to trust the government led by chief minister Hajiji Noor.

PETALING JAYA: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah has rejected claims the Chinese community in the state has shifted its support to Warisan.

Its information chief, Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan, described Warisan president Shafie Apdal’s claims as “far from the current political reality”, as the community continues to trust the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah government led by chief minister Hajiji Noor.

“The Chinese community is increasingly comfortable with Hajiji’s leadership, which has a record of stable governance and a focus on people’s development,” he was quoted by Sabah Media as saying.
