PETALING JAYA: A government MP has questioned how a man wanted under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma) was able to roam freely before he was shot dead in his car in Klang last week.
Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng questioned whether the police were aware of the whereabouts of the deceased, who had a criminal record for several offences.
“If a wanted person can freely move around in the middle of a city, it exposes clear weaknesses in the police’s operations and surveillance.
