LONDON: Alexander Isak is not in Liverpool’s squad for their Premier League match at Burnley on Sunday.
Liverpool boss Arne Slot said on Friday that the forward, signed for a British-record fee of £125 million ($169 million) from Newcastle last month, would be eased in to action after a disrupted pre-season.
Isak’s arrival after a protracted chase was part of an eye-catching Liverpool splurge of more than £400 million in the summer transfer window.
