ALOR SETAR: Gerakan president Dominic Lau has hit back at a PAS ulama delegate who questioned his ability to serve as Penang Perikatan Nasional chairman.
Lau said that Gerakan was actively serving as a check and balance to the DAP-led state government, despite not holding a seat in the state assembly.
“Gerakan has regularly issued statements on issues affecting the people and forced a response from state leaders, including Penang chief minister Chow Kon Yeow,” he told reporters on the sidelines of the PAS muktamar here.
