PETALING JAYA: A man is feared to have drowned after he tried to swim to safety when his car was trapped in floodwaters in Sepang late last night.

The Selangor fire and rescue department said there were four people in the car, three of whom managed to escape.

The fourth person is missing after he was believed to have tried to swim to safety, the department said, adding that a search and rescue operation was being carried out.
