Police say power supply was switched off at the substation in Alor Gajah, Melaka, before the body was removed.

PETALING JAYA: A man, believed to be a Myanmar national, was found dead in a drain near a Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) substation in Alor Gajah, Melaka, today.

The Melaka fire and rescue department said the man is believed to have been electrocuted.

The department received an emergency call at about 2.30pm and dispatched a fire engine with nine firemen from the Ayer Keroh fire and rescue station to the location.
