PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission has inspected premises belonging to social media influencer Aliff Ahmad as part of a probe into a Facebook post in which he allegedly touched on race, religion and royalty.

The MCMC said the matter is being investigated under Section 233 of the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 (CMA) for improper use of network facilities, Harian Metro reported.

“The inspection was done after the MCMC obtained a search warrant issued by the Kuala Lumpur sessions court under Section 247 of the CMA.
