PETALING JAYA: A pathologist has confirmed that a mother and daughter who were killed yesterday died of neck injuries caused by a sharp weapon, believed to be a meat cleaver.
“Checks also found the injuries on both victims were similar and likely occurred at the same time,” consulting pathologist Dr Zahari Noor said, Bernama reported.
Speaking at the forensics unit in Butterworth, he said the autopsies on the two victims also revealed other wounds that showed they tried to defend themselves.
