KUALA LUMPUR: The human resources ministry does not view migrant worker protection as a matter of mere compliance with International Labour Organisation (ILO) conventions, but as one of human rights, says its minister.

Steven Sim said the government’s commitment to protecting migrant workers’ rights is rooted in humanity.
