Guinness World Records recognition for ‘Most Pledges Received for an Occupational Safety Campaign in One Year’.

SEPANG: Malaysia has made history after the human resources ministry, through the department of occupational safety and health (DOSH) and the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), received Guinness World Records recognition for the “Most Pledges Received for an Occupational Safety Campaign in One Year”.

Deputy human resources minister Abdul Rahman Mohamad said the recognition symbolises Malaysia’s strong commitment to occupational safety and health and positions the nation as a global leader in advancing workplace safety standards.

“I hope these pledges are not just symbolic, but truly reflect a strong commitment from all parties; employers and employees alike,” he said when officiating the 2024 National OSH Awards ceremony tonight.
