PETALING JAYA: Perikatan Nasional chairman Muhyiddin Yassin this evening met leaders from political parties outside the government bloc on a proposed “united front” to champion national interests.

In a Facebook post, Muhyiddin said among the leaders who attended the discussion were the presidents from PN components parties, namely Gerakan’s Dominic Lau, and the Malaysian Indian People’s Party’s P Punithan, as well as opposition leader Hamzah Zainudin.

The others who attended the meeting included Pejuang president Mukhriz Mahathir, acting Muda president Amira Aisya Abdul Aziz, Putra president Ibrahim Ali, Urimai chairman P Ramasamy, Parti Sosialis Malaysia deputy chairman S Arutchelvan, and Malaysian Advancement Party president P Waytha Moorthy.
