The evacuees in Perak were allowed to return to their homes today as the floods had completely receded.

KUALA LUMPUR: Perak has fully recovered from the recent floods although over 3,000 flood victims remained in shelters in Sabah and Kelantan as of this morning.

The remaining temporary relief centre (PPS) at SK Kuala Slim in Muallim, Perak, which had housed 39 victims from 10 families, closed at 8am today.

The Perak disaster management committee said the victims were allowed to return to their homes as the floods had completely receded.
