PETALING JAYA: The Kelantan health department has set up a committee to investigate the death of a female trainee doctor at a dormitory of the Sultan Ismail Petra Hospital in Kuala Krai.
Its director Azman Yacob said the committee will conduct a holistic investigation, looking into the cause of the incident, workplace stress, and other contributing factors, Berita Harian reported.
“We are saddened by the incident, and I visited her family this morning. The deceased was a graduate from Mansoura University in Egypt and was undergoing her practical training,” he was quoted as saying.
