The incident allegedly occurred when more than 100 plantation workers marched to Parliament to submit a memorandum and a draft bill on housing for estate workers.

PETALING JAYA: Police are investigating a commotion during the submission of a memorandum and a draft bill outside Parliament which is said to have left a police officer injured today.

Kuala Lumpur police chief Fadil Marsus said a report had been lodged regarding the incident.

The police officer required medical treatment.
