KUALA LUMPUR: The ringgit closed lower against the greenback today as concerns over US tariffs continued to dominate market sentiment, an analyst said.

Additionally, the 25 basis points (bps) cut in the overnight policy rate (OPR) announced by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) at 3pm had also contributed to the easing of the ringgit.
