PETALING JAYA: The Selangor government has decided to give a RM2,000 incentive to each of its athletes if the state wins the 2026 Malaysia Games (Sukma) by gaining the most gold medals.

Menteri besar Amirudin Shari said this would be on top of the incentives that each athlete would get if they win gold, Bernama reported.

Athletes in individual sports who win a gold medal will receive a RM10,000 incentive.
