PETALING JAYA: A Russian toddler died today, four days after being stung by jellyfish at Pantai Cenang in Langkawi on Saturday morning.

Two-year-old Vladimir Iakubanets died at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital in Alor Setar, Kedah, at 9.46am having undergone treatment at the hospital since Saturday, Harian Metro reported.

The boy’s father, known only as Nikita, said Vladimir had suffered serious complications from the sting.
