PETALING JAYA: The PKR candidates for the coming Sabah state election have signed an agreement against jumping ship should they win their seats, or risk paying a RM10 million fine.
“Each candidate has signed a pledge, backed by a RM10 million bond, should they betray the party,” PKR secretary-general Fuziah Salleh said in a statement this evening.
Earlier, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim announced the party’s 10 candidates for the Nov 29 polls.
