Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan says the safety of the homes will be assessed by Tenaga Nasional Berhad and the public works department.

PETALING JAYA: Tenaga Nasional Berhad and the public works department will assess the condition of houses damaged by this morning’s gas pipeline fire tomorrow and determine if their occupants can return.

“They will check if it is safe to go back or not,” Selangor police chief Hussein Omar Khan told reporters.

He said the fire had completely damaged 87 houses and partially damaged 148.
