PETALING JAYA: Amanah has urged for seat negotiations between Barisan Nasional (BN) and Pakatan Harapan (PH) in Melaka to be based on the coalitions’ national partnership, instead of being focussed on the state alone.
Amanah communications director Khalid Samad said it is not right to conduct negotiations in Melaka without considering the distribution of seats nationwide and in other states, Sinar Harian reported.
“For example, we have given seats to BN in Selangor (in the August 2023 state election). As such, BN should also make way for PH in Melaka.
