At just 10 and eight years old, respectively, these brothers are capturing the attention of Malaysia’s riding community thanks to their ability to go the distance.

KUALA LUMPUR: Brothers Nik Muhammad Danish Nik Muhammad Zulkarnain and Nik Muhammad Faris are attracting the attention of Malaysia’s cycling community for their mature riding style and ability to compete in long-distance routes – despite being age 10 and eight, respectively.

Hailing from Kampung Gong Badak in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, the young siblings began cycling casually, often joining their parents on evening and weekend rides, before moving on to longer-distance outings.

Their father Nik Muhammad Zulkarnain Nik Sin, 41, said his boys began showing serious interest in cycling about a year ago, with their performance having improved after joining the competitive Junior Cycling Malaysia (JCM) race series.
