The husband-and-wife pair lost to Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin in the second round.

PETALING JAYA: National mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Jemie Lai’s run at the All England badminton championship came to an end at the hands of a Chinese pair in the last 16.

The world No 11 husband-and-wife pair lost to second-ranked Jiang Zhen Bang-Wei Ya Xin 16-21, 18-21 in 42 minutes at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham.

Their defeat means all of Malaysia’s mixed doubles pairs have been eliminated in the early rounds of the championship.
