KUALA LUMPUR: A 14-year-old student was detained by police after allegedly punching and threatening his teacher at a secondary school in Kajang on Monday.

Kajang police chief Naazron Yusof said the incident happened after the student became upset when a 29-year-old teacher reprimanded him for skipping a physical education class.

“A scuffle then broke out between the suspect and the victim before the student punched the teacher in the face and threatened him.
