The world No 2 pair, runners-up in 2019 and 2024, were defeated by world champions Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae in three games.

PETALING JAYA: Men’s doubles shuttlers Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik failed in their third attempt to win the All England title, losing to South Korean’s reigning world champions Kim Won Ho-Seo Seung Jae in the final today.

The world No 2 pair went down to the defending champions 21-18, 12-21, 19-21 in a hard-fought match lasting 62 minutes at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham. They were also runners-up at the 2019 and 2024 editions, losing to Indonesian pairs on both occasions.

The two-time Olympics bronze-medallists take home US$50,750 (RM200,273) as runners-up.
