KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened higher on Thursday, following a strong rebound on Wall Street after US President Donald Trump signalled a pullback from planned tariff increases on several European Union economies.

At 9.05am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) rose 9.39 points to 1,715.20, up from Wednesday’s close of 1,705.81.
