PETALING JAYA: National men’s doubles shuttlers Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun swept aside Danish pair Christian Faust Kjaer-Rasmus Kjaer to storm into the quarter-finals of the Australian Open.

The world No 5 pair were too good for their newly-paired rivals, winning 21-11, 21-16 in just 28 minutes.

Already assured of a spot at next month’s World Tour Finals in China, Wei Chong-Kai Wun will face Indonesia’s Raymond Indra-Nikolaus Joaquin in the last eight.
