PETALING JAYA: Bersatu Supreme Council member Saifuddin Abdullah has expressed his disappointment with the failure of education minister Fadhlina Sidek to answer questions in the Dewan Rakyat about the death of Sabah student Zara Qairina Mahathir.
Saifuddin, who is MP for Indera Mahkota, said nearly half of the MPs had spoken about the incident, but Fadhlina had not answered a single question raised while winding up the debate on the 13th Malaysia Plan on Wednesday.
“I raised the matter of Zara, the investigation, the post-mortem and the public’s hopes for a fair and transparent inquest. Nearly half of the MPs discussed the matter of bullying and about Zara,” he said in a video posted online.
