Police said an autopsy revealed the cause of death to be suffocation. There was no signs of ransacking of the house, which was locked from the inside.

KUALA LUMPUR: The bodies of a 53-year-old woman and her 25-year-old nephew were found in the living room of her house in Semenyih, Selangor, last night after her brother reported a stench from the house.

A post-mortem examination revealed that they had been suffocated, Kajang police chief Naazron Abdul Yusof said, according to Bernama.

He said police entered the house after a report was lodged by the brother at 8.43pm. The two bodies were found lying on the floor.
