PETALING JAYA: The sessions court here has sentenced the mother of the late six-year-old autistic boy, Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matin, to five years in prison after finding her guilty of neglecting the deceased.

Judge Syahliza Warnoh imposed the sentence on Ismanira Abdul Manaf, 30, after hearing
submissions from Ismanira’s counsel and the prosecution.

Earlier, the judge ruled that the prosecution had proven its case against Ismanira beyond reasonable doubt.
