The home minister says 21 of them are still being actively investigated and have been referred to the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

PETALING JAYA: A total of 111 investigation papers have been opened in relation to the Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings case since September 2024, says home minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail.

In a written parliamentary reply today, he said 21 of them are still being actively investigated and have been referred to the Attorney-General’s Chambers for further instructions.

“Action is being taken for one of them under the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001.
