PETALING JAYA: Amanah is turning its focus on more than 20,000 first-time voters in Shah Alam, whom the party sees as key to retaining the parliamentary constituency in the 16th general election (GE16).
Shah Alam Amanah chief Azli Yusof said this group of voters appeared to be more independent, non-partisan and inclined to evaluate issues and policy proposals before deciding whom to back at the polls.
“This group demands a different approach – one that is more authentic, fact-based and closer to the realities of their lives,” the Shah Alam MP said in a statement.
