She faces a jail term of up to five years, a RM1 million fine, or both.

PETALING JAYA: An undischarged bankrupt has pleaded not guilty to a charge of acting as a company director last year.

Noor Hafieza Amran was charged at the Shah Alam sessions court on Sept 29 with acting as a director of Fezz Auto Sdn Bhd on June 2, 2024 despite being an undischarged bankrupt.

She also failed to obtain court approval to hold the position or perform the duties of a company director, the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM) said in a statement.
