KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia opened slightly higher today but retreated thereafter, driven by mild profit taking, amid renewed concern over the global economic outlook, an analyst said.

At 9.22am, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) slipped 2.08 points to 1,547.82, down from Wednesday’s close of 1,549.90.
