The concessionaire expects to attract one million visitors this year to the tower, which reopened its doors to the public today.

KUALA LUMPUR: A total of RM20 million has been spent on repairs and improvements to facilities at the Kuala Lumpur Tower since it was temporarily closed last week, the tower’s concessionaire said today.

The upgrades were to the main tourist attractions, such as the open-air Skydeck, front terrace, and revolving restaurant, said Lim Keng Cheng, chairman of Lim Seong Hai Capital Bhd, parent company of the concessionaire, LSH Service Master Sdn Bhd.

The concessionaire’s CEO, Khairil Faizal Othman, said the company hopes to attract one million visitors this year, while maintaining the daily number of 1,000 to 1,500 visitors.
